The space
Fiji is for outdoor living so each room has ample louvre windows so you can enjoy both ocean breeze from the front of property and winds coming off the Nakauvadre range which you can see in the distance at the back of the property.
Set on 4 acres of cleared sugarcane land now converted to lush tropical gardens, the property is located on village land but is located on the cusp of a traditional Fijian village (300 metres walk to Navutulevu village) which is close enough to experience authentic, traditional Fijian life but far enough to enjoy the ultimate privacy and tranquility of island life.
100% off-the-grid and 100% solar powered
We are proud to say our property is 100% off-the-grid and is 100% solar powered when sunshine is plenty (which is most of the year in our part of Fiji) and generator powered in wet seasons (where solar is low and generator power is only available for 3-4 hours of an evening to let you recharge your electricals).
When generator power is relied on solar power lights also power essential areas at night such as toilet and bathroom.
Showers do not have hot water but in the tropical heat the water is usually at a perfect temperature to cool down.
