Wananavu’s Chef’s take pride in creating lavish dishes, so that your dining experience will be a memorable part of your stay on our picturesque island resort.
Glorious weather means guests often choose to dine on the deck, where they can take in the panoramic views of the clear blue Pacific Ocean, and the lush tropical gardens.
Breakfast
Breakfast begins at 7am and offers a buffet selection of fresh fruit, juices, cereals, muffins, fresh bread and homemade jams. Order your cooked breakfast preferences from our à la carte menu, and enjoy a Wananavu blend of fresh coffee and a selection of teas.
Lunch
The sound of the Lali drums and the Wananavu Band Boys call guests to lunch at midday. The Pacific influenced all-day menu changes daily.
Dinner
As the tropical sun begins to set in the Pacific Ocean, the flares are lit, the guitars are strummed, the Kava bowl is filled and dinner is served. The all-day menu is complemented by a changing selection from our evening menu, featuring local and international cuisine.
Themed Nights
Take part in a real Fijian experience on Lovo Night. In this traditional Fijian way of cooking, the food is wrapped in banana leaves and cooked over hot stones buried under ground. You can be present at the covering and uncovering of the Lovo, and listen to the locals explain their traditional method of cooking, and the rituals involved.
Not only is this a uniquely Fijian experience, the food is also delicious. Lovo Night is accompanied by a Meke, or traditional Fijian storytelling through dance and song.
